The peninsula is located in the southeast of the state of Bahia, on the Costa do Dendê, on an extension of approximately 40 kilometers of reserved beaches - which are never full! The destination is at one end of the Bay of Camumú, with lush Atlantic forest and beautiful waterfalls.

To the south of the peninsula is Barra Grande, a destination that brings together a variety of landscapes of rare beauty. With immense coconut trees, deserted beaches, lagoons, natural pools of clear water, mangroves, rivers, native forest, and lots of wildlife.

The nearest airport is Ilhéus, which is 130 km away, approximately two and a half hours' drive.
